Design Engineer

Applied Engineering Technology, Inc. is looking for talented Design Engineers with experience using Pro/Engineer for positions in Maple Grove, MN. Design Engineers at AE have the opportunity to solve a wide variety of engineering challenges in a product development environment. The Design Engineer role is responsible for creating 3D models of parts and assemblies, performing analyses or studies, creating engineering drawings to document intellectual property, creating design documentation, assisting with prototype or production builds, preparing cost analysis and project schedules, presenting or demonstrating designs, and working with suppliers or other AE partners.In order to be considered for a Design Engineer position with AE, candidates must have a minimum of one year design experience using Pro/Engineer and a B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering. Applicants must also possess good communication skills, the desire to work on a variety of projects, strong work ethic and integrity, and good teamwork and collaboration skills.
