Mechanical design provides the foundation for breakthrough products. Applied Engineering can help you turn an idea for a product or machine into a working model, meeting all of your physical and performance requirements. Your creative vision can cost-effectively become reality by leveraging AE's extensive experience in 3D CAD modeling for companies across many industries.

How AE Can Help

AE's project managers and design engineers can help your company:

  • Design and development structures, machines, sheet metal parts, plastics, castings, hydraulics, electrical systems, and a wide variety of other components and systems

  • Design with industry-leading CAD packages, including Autodesk Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER, Unigraphics NX, SolidWorks and others

Case Study: Mechanical Design for Tetra Pak

mechanical engineering design

Challenge
Tetra Pak had a concept for a new type of milk-packaging machine. However, Tetra Pak did not have the available internal resources to work on the project, so they turned to Applied Engineering.

Solution
AE provided experienced mechanical engineers with computer hardware and software dedicated to Tetra Pak’s project. AE developed the concept into a 3D CAD model, and then worked with local machine shops to manufacture the parts and assemble a working prototype.
