Applied Engineering (AE) offers regularly scheduled training classes with course length and availability designed to meet the needs of beginning, intermediate and advanced users. We find that effective training is vital to success in today’s competitive world. Highly trained employees improve a business’s competitive advantage by increasing efficiency, reducing errors and standardizing processes.

All of our training classes are conducted by certified, knowledgeable and experienced instructors who have extensive knowledge on CAD/CAM/CAE software. Our professional trainers are dedicated to providing the best training strategies, curriculum, delivery and assessments possible. Training is guaranteed for 12 months and we also have mobile learning centers available for on-site training.

Licensed Professional Engineer

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University
• Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (A.S.M.E.)
• 20 years of industrial experience working in engineering design, manufacturing, sales and project management
• Specializes in Machine Design and Fastener Technologies

Jerry

Training Instructor

• Graduated from Moorhead State Community and Technical College
• Certified Instructor for Autodesk Inventor
• Proficient in Solid Works, PDM Works, Word, Excel, 4th Shift, Windows, Outlook and Microsoft Explorer.
• Worked for a manufacturing company designing different attachments for skidsteer industry, and was CAD administrator for engineering department
• Worked in engineering services at Applied engineering before becoming one of the technical trainers for the Autodesk products

• graduated from NDSU in 1998 with BSME
• worked for a defense company and a consumer product company before moving to AE
• worked on various engineering projects for AE including projects in construction and ag equipment, electrical enclosures, packaging machinery, etc.
• used Pro/E, SolidWorks, Catia, and Autodesk products on engineering projects
• maintain portable training labs used in on-site training
• Certified SW Instructor, Certified SW Support Technician, Certified SW Professional, Certified PTC Instructor (Pro/E), CompTIA’s CTT+ certification
